Broken. Promise or trust? (Part II)

Two years after that incident after graduating from Harvard, Sam was living a life he always dreamt of. Also, he didn't visit India even once since he got into Harvard. He was doing great in his career. But still, someone was missing and that was Tina. Though he was living a life he always wanted to, still he was not as happy as he expected. Now you must be wondering why the hell is he desperate for a girl. It had been two years, he could have dated another girl. Well, he could have dated. In fact, anyone who breaks up does this after a certain period. But for Sam, it was more than just dating. 

Sam had a really bad past. His bad childhood memories never left him. There was never a friendly atmosphere in his home. His parents were on the verge of separating. He was always lonely. His parents didn't even care for him when he needed them the most. During high school, he was depressed and about to commit suicide but hopefully, a friend changed his mind. That friend was Tina. After Tina's arrival, his loneliness disappeared. He found someone who was there for him no matter what. During college, his parents divorced. It was a very low point for him and at that time Tina took care of him. Both of them evolved beautifully. She was more than a partner. For him, she was the one who was with him in his bad time. She was the one who cared for him, unlike his parents who never cared for him when he needed them the most. 

A month after when Sam received the call from Tina's boyfriend, he asked one of his closest friends to see how it's going between the two of them. A few days later that friend called him. "Hey, Sam! There's something really strange", "What happened? What are you talking about?", asked Sam hurriedly. "The guy you were talking about is not Tina's boyfriend anymore! In fact, she broke up with that guy" the friend told. "But why she did that?" Sam asked in confusion. "I don't know. I tried contacting her but all her social media handles are unavailable. She has deactivated all of them. She changed her phone number as well", friend exclaimed. "Then why don't you go to her residence ", Sam yelled. "I went there but then I got to know that she doesn't live there anymore. She had shifted a week ago. Also, she didn't tell about where she shifted to. I know Sam it's painful for you to know. But don't worry I'll try my best and call you as soon as I get to know anything about her " and with this the conversation ended. Sam was shocked and surprised to know this. Though it was strange, deep inside Sam knew what she was doing. But the one thing that was hurting Sam was the trust she broke. Sometimes he used to get sad. But somehow he managed to graduate from Harvard and then made career his only priority. In those two years, Sam changed a lot. From being a carefree boy to a responsible man, from being a soft and shy person to a bold and confident gentleman. And one thing was missing and that was happiness. Never in those two years happiness sparkled on his face. Maybe, Sam lost belief in attachments and relationships. Or there was something which no one knew except him.

So, what do you think will Sam ever meet Tina again? And what do you think about Tina? Why didn't she tried contacting Sam even for once in those two years? Was she hurt because Sam broke his promise? A lot is about to be revealed. Till then, stay tuned to my blogs.
