CBSE, PCM and my experience
Do you know what is the most challenging part about writing a blog daily? It is to think about what to write about. On some days, I don't need to think once about what to write and some days I spend the whole day thinking about the topic but still couldn't figure out what to write. Some people may find it crazy that I'm writing every day because hardly anyone who blogs write daily. But, because I'm new in this field so I have to do things differently and more frequent.
Now, because I am not having anything interesting to write about, I am going to share my experience based on our Indian education curriculum. So, I have been a science student and studied in a CBSE board school. Readers who had studied science in a CBSE board school can relate to my experience easily. My 11th and 12th standard had been spent solving problems of Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Also, these problems never end. And if you're aiming to crack an engineering or medical entrance then you've to deal with some extraordinary problems.
Initially, I didn't like Physics. But with time I gained interest and in the end, Physics became my best subject. Also, there came a time in my life when I was too much into these subjects. My whole day used to get spend solving problems. And here's an incident of one of those days. I guess, many of you won't believe but I solved a complex mechanics problem of physics in my imagination. It's true, I won't lie. One day I got stuck in a physics problem really bad. And after losing all hopes that I could solve that problem, I laid on my bed, closed my eyes, but I was still thinking about that problem so I just started imagining it in my mind. That wedge, the ball which had been thrown from a height and the wall where it strikes. It was as if everything was in front of me. Somehow I did the maths on my mind's screen too and surprisingly I solved that problem. The problem in which I was stuck for hours solved in a glimpse in my mind. That was the day when I realized that though how challenging our curriculum to be, but it developed my mind really well. Even today, sometimes I wonder where all this stuff will come to use which I studied in the last two years of school. But practicing that stuff helped me reach certain limits of my mind's potential.
In this way, I believe nothing goes to waste. Whatever we learn or do teaches something or comes to our use someday in our life. Also, for those who think our curriculum is not good enough, it's not like that. It is the people and the system made by the people which is making us believe that it is not good enough. So, there's a need to bring a change. A change in the system. A change in the mindset of people. I am not going to emphasize much on those today because I just wanted to share my experience. Maybe some other day, I will write about the changes and how we can bring those changes.
Have a great day!
