Ever felt like that?

Ever felt a lack of clarity? Ever felt that time is passing fast? Ever felt that you're not healthy anymore? If yes, then it means you're wasting your time on useless things. I have asked three questions, while all three are interconnected to each other still I'm going to explain them all separately.

Let's talk about the lack of clarity first. It is nothing but an excess of unwanted and unnecessary thoughts in our minds. And these thoughts come when we are engaged in those activities which are not important to us at all. To have clarity towards our goals and actions we have to remain focused on our goal only. Diverting our attention towards the unimportant things will only increase unimportant thoughts in our mind which will cause a lack of clarity. And if you're experiencing the same then go for dopamine detox for a day and do important things only from the next day. If you're wondering what is a dopamine detox, I'll tell you in short. It is not doing anything which gives you pleasure or instant gratification for example eating junk food, watching web series, and many more such things. This will help you clear the clutter in your mind.

Now comes the time which is passing too fast. Actually, there's nothing like that. Pick up a book that you don't like and start reading it, ten minutes will feel like an hour. On the other hand, watch a movie which you always want to and three hours will feel like thirty minutes. So, it's all about how you're spending your time. If you're spending your time doing useless things which you enjoy, the time will appear passing really fast and if you keep on wasting your time like this only, your life will soon get over and you will feel that you've lived so fast. Also, because you've spent your entire life doing useless things, you won't be really happy while dying. While on the other, if you're completing the high-priority things first and then doing whatever you want for chilling, there would be a lot of time and you will feel that time is passing slowly. And here I'm not lying, I've experienced it myself. Till the 15th of January, I was being highly productive and so I was feeling like time has slowed down. But from 16th January I'm wasting too much and today is 18th and it feels like two days have passed and I've not done anything fruitful which makes me feel the time has passed really fast. So, spend your time wisely, ensure you're completing high priority things first and you will never feel like running out of time.

Lastly comes my favorite part that is about health. If you're unhealthy then it means you're not consuming good things. Remember one thing, we are what we eat. So eat good and be good. I've seen people eating anything irrespective of quality and nutrition. See it like an expensive car, which can travel mile-long distances. So, won't you take good care of that car? Only if you feed the car with any sort of fuel, do you think it will go much longer? And, if you want to travel really long, do you keep it running or let it stop so that the engine cools down. Similar is our body, you've to take good care of it, feed it with nutritious and quality food, and let it properly rest so that it can work properly.

At the beginning of the blog I've told you that these three things are interconnected to each other, now let me tell you how it is. When you're engaged in a useless activity, useless thoughts come into your mind and cause a lack of clarity later on. Most of the time that useless thing is something which gives you instant gratification so you keep on enjoying it and you don't realize how much time has passed also you're so deeply in it that you don't even remember to sip some water to keep yourself hydrated and forget about eating some healthy snack. So, the conclusion is the more you keep avoiding indulging in useless things the better your life will be. And who does not wants to enjoy a better life because at last "we live only once".

Have a great day!
