Happy Holi!

 Hey!

It had been a better day than I thought. The plan was to get to my desk by 9 as usual and study. So, I woke up at 8:30 and got ready by 9, and sat on my desk. I had no intentions to meet and greet and play Holi. The plan was to do the same things I did last year, took a bath, got ready and was on my desk by 9am. I didn't met anyone last year. For me, it was just like an usual day.

But, this year, things didn't go as expected. Though, I was on my desk after getting ready. Even I completed the first study session as well. And then, I had my breakfast after which I was on my desk for the next study session and then neighbors came. Though other family members were meeting them, they asked for me, and then I was being called. And then, I had to meet them, I had no other choice. And meeting and greeting was not that bad. I got on my desk again and then again the same thing happened, some more neighbors came and they too asked for me and I met them too. 

After all that, I felt that it was not a great idea to spend this festive day as a usual working day. Earlier I was thinking that meeting people is unpleasant because they irritate by asking unwanted questions. But, nothing like that happened at all. Instead, it was more fun and delightful. Moreover, for me, Holi used to be a fun day. I personally used to enjoy it a lot. But, last year, the covid situation forced us to stay away from all that fun and that made me believe that Holi is not going to be a fun festival anymore. And that is why I had a plan to spend this day like a usual one. Though the plan didn't work out, but I enjoyed and it made me believe that it is going to be the same fun again next year. 

So, I just want to tell you all that how busy you are, put everything on pause and enjoy this day. This festival of colors has the power to fill colors of joy, enthusiasm, and motivation in our lives which keeps us charged up for the whole year to work well.
