How to overcome procrastination

 Today I have learned about how to stop procrastinating and rise from failure to success and I'm here sharing these tips with all of you.

1. Time tracking

This one is actually the most effective and I have personally used this two years back and it helped me get more time to do the important things in a day. So, if you feel like you do not get enough time in a day, start making an entry of each hour. Make an entry of each and every task you do with its time period so that you can see where you're spending your time and how you can manage to get more time. Just do this activity for two or three days and you'll yourself realize.


2. Do not quit if started fearing

Yes, if you have started something, but now you're feeling that it's too tough and you can do that other thing very well, then it's not a fair deal. If you do like this for once, you will do this again and this will become a habit and in this way, you could have started ten things but couldn't succeed in any. For example, you're preparing for an exam but as the exam nears, you feel it's too tough and you should start following your passion, then it's not a great idea. Crack that exam, face it, make it happen and then go ahead, it will be very satisfying and add value to your life.


3.Do not overstudy

If you're a student and say you study 5 hours a day but somehow you're trying to study more hours. The first day you study six hours, the second day you do seven and take it to ten somehow and after that, you're too exhausted that you sleep the whole day. So, it's not a good idea. Keep it five but keep it consistent. So, there's no use of overstudying


4.Be effective, not productive

Spend a bit of time deciding what tasks you should do so that your ultimate goal can be reached faster and with a high probability of success. You can be productive all day, even if you're doing something out of the scope of your goal but that is of no use, so it's more important to be effective rather than just productive.


5.Turn off notifications

A single notification is strong enough to ruin your hours doesn't matter if your willpower is strong enough or not. So, it's better to turn off all the notifications on your devices so that you can work uninterruptedly. After you're done with your work, you can check your devices.


So, these were some tips that can make you stop procrastinating and add more value to your lives.
