The "human needs" triangle

Today I'm going to tell you all about Maslow's hierarchy of needs. It had been given by Abraham Maslow. Though I don't know who he really was and I guess it doesn't really matter. What matters the most is the hierarchy he gave.

So, as you can see, here's a triangle in which different kinds of needs of human beings are given. Starting from the bottom, the most basic needs are given which are actually the most essential for survival, and to the top the least essential for survival but most important for accomplishing in this life.

The red part of the triangle shows the most essential needs for survival that are food, water, and sleep without which you can't survive. So, it is the first need which is to be satisfied, then one can move to the orange part of the triangle, that is about safety. Only fulfilling the needs for survival of the body is not enough, in order to survive in this world we are required to fulfill the need for security for survival. Animals can roam and hunt for their basic survival needs, but we humans cannot, and that is why we need financial security to ensure basic survival, and that is what the orange part comprises of. 

After fulfilling these two levels of basic human needs, one becomes confident enough to fulfill the need to have a partner and maybe starting a family i.e. the yellow part. On this part, I have a different mindset and that is why I don't want to comment much about it. So, moving to the green part, it's about an image in society. After realizing that one has fulfilled these many needs of themselves, they want to be respected in society, and they somehow manage to fulfill this need as well. And now comes the most important part. After reaching the green part of human needs, they get satisfied with life. Either some get too old till they reach that level or they feel that they are too tired to achieve more and then they feel they are done with their life. And that is why most people spent their life without even feeling the need to fulfill the blue part. 

Well, most of us aren't even aware that there is a need for self-realization. Even, I was not aware of it till a point of time in my life. But, now I understand why it is important and why we all should reach the blue part of the pyramid. As I always say, every individual on this planet comes with a purpose, and it is our duty to find that purpose and accomplish it. Billions of people born and die and we are not even aware of everyone. And who cares about everyone. The world remembers only those who fulfilled their purpose. In fact, the world knows only those who made it big, who contributed to this world, to this society, and not just lived a life fulfilling their own needs. And that is why the topmost part of the triangle holds big importance.

In the end, I will only say, the day we are born, we cry while the world around us rejoices, so,  just make this life worth enough so that the day you will die, the whole world cries because we live only once!
