Trapped in the internet
It's 19:17, I just had finished a lecture on something that I study. Before that, I just woke up from sleeping. Just like yesterday, I fell asleep in the evening today as well. Maybe, I'm getting tired these days. But when I wake up after sleeping, I feel a sense of regret that I shouldn't t have slept. Maybe, I could have done something else in that break time. But then I would have felt sleepy during the lecture. So, it was not a bad decision.
In the afternoon, I was thinking about what should I post on my 100th blog. And, I couldn't find anything great on the internet about that. So, I have to think about it all myself. Though, when I think all by myself, I come up with great ideas. I think, with more and more exposure to the internet, and so convenient technology these days, we have ruined our creativity. We are not pushing ourselves to think differently. Most of the time, when we face a problem, we instantly go on the internet for their solutions. Only, if we stop doing this and start forcing ourselves to figure out such problems all by ourselves, we can come up with new ways.
I still remember, when I was in 5th standard, I was fortunate enough to have a laptop. But, we didn't have an internet connection back then. For two years straight, I used that laptop without internet. I never knew what happens on internet and what it is all about. I just explored the laptop. I guess, there was not a single thing left. I learned to make webpages in HTML. I learned the visual basic. I learned to edit videos. I mastered using many softwares. And I don't even remember what more I learned because there are so many things and I was just a 6th-grade kid. When I was in 7th standard, I used the internet for the first time on my laptop. Even, after getting to use the internet, I still remained creative for some years, but my creativity started to decline when I got a smartphone in 9th standard which led to over-exposure to the internet.
Undoubtedly, the internet and technology made our lives easier, but overexposure to it has ruined our lives. And, this is one of those reasons I have had made a distance from technology. I use it for a very specific and limited time. And I want you all to check how much time you are spending trapped in the vicious technology and internet. Try to reduce that time gradually to a minimum. Try not to go online as much as you can and you will yourself see a more positive impact on your daily life
Have a great day!
