How to live life creatively?
As a child, we all have creativity inside us. But, as we grow up, some of us tend to forget the creative side of ourselves, while some turn their creativity into their livelihoods.
Someone asked me, 'how to live my life creatively?'. The answer is pretty simple and clear, never stop doing what you love. If I look back on my life, I can see, I used to do all those things I loved. As a child, I used to set aside time for school homework, and the rest of the time used to do my creative stuff. Now, I set aside time for creative stuff, sometimes I am not even able to set aside that time also. And the rest of the time, I'm either doing my study-related work or some other works.
So, this is the difference between our childhood and when we start getting elder. And in between being a child and becoming a grown-up adult, sometimes that creativity is lost behind somewhere.
Just imagine a life where you're doing what you love. They always say that if you're doing what you love then you would never hate your job. And that is absolutely true. Whatever we used to do as a child was all because of our curiosity and interests, and we never got tired of doing those things. Sometimes, children get so involved in their stuff that they even forget to eat and sleep. This is what is called being passionate. And if we never stop doing those creative things, we just become better and more experienced. And this is how most of the renowned celebrities became what they are.
I have classified the transition of a creative child into an average person in some phases. In the beginning, as a child, the person's creativity is at its best. As the person grows up, he/she becomes more involved in the system and society. For instance, as we grow up, we are told to focus more on studies and stop wasting time on other things. So, this is what we start doing. And, when the person gets tired of it, he/she finds distractions as a way to relax. And in today's world, there are so many things like social media, video games, web series, and what not. And, in between all this the time being spent on creative things reduces. Also, the person finds those distractions more attractive than what they used to enjoy in their childhood. And in all this, one never realizes when they grew up and how the creativity got lost. This way, most of us end up in a profession that we don't really like.
Only if we spend our initial years just continuing doing the things we actually like, life can be much creative and cheerful. And obviously, we would not be hating our professions.
I hope this answer explains more than it confuses.
Have a great day!
