Inventions that changed the world

The world has changed a lot over time. But, there were some inventions that made a huge impact on this changing world and life would have been totally different if these inventions were not made.

1. The Internet

No doubt, the internet has completely changed the way how the world works and obviously our lives as well. Most people's day begins by checking the notifications on their phones. Most of the things are happening sitting at the comfort of our homes. Moreover, people stopped rushing to the libraries for collecting information because now they can simply google on their browser. In all, the internet has made a huge impact on our lives. Just imagine the world without the internet and you will yourself realize how it changed the world. 

2. Electricity

It is more of discovery rather than invention and it totally changed the way things worked. From candle lights to light bulbs, hand fans to ceiling fans, ancient tools to modern-day appliances. What not had become possible with the discovery of electricity. Even the modern-day inventions that changed the world too became possible after this discovery only.

3. Aeroplane

Well, this invention changed the world by making long-distance journeys shorter. The journeys which once used to take weeks and months can now be completed in a day or two. It takes about 28-67 days to travel from India to the USA by ship but only 18 hours by flight. Distances do not even matter much in today's time, thanks to air travel. 

4. Printing Press

Today, we can easily buy a book of our choice and read it. Most people's day doesn't start without reading the newspaper. In fact, there's a lot of printed material all around us. But, it was not always like this. So, the printing press actually changed the world. Before that, there were only handwritten publications. And that is why not many copies of a book were there. People had to wait to get a chance to read a book. And forget about the newspaper, because handwriting so many things daily is not a possible thing. So, the printing press made a huge impact.
