Top 3 things to remember during virtual classes
So, as I wrote about in my yesterday's blog, I watched the movie at night before sleeping and made it a fun weekend. Now, what's next? Seriously, I have no idea what to write about in today's blog. I guess I've enjoyed it too much. So, from this, we learn that we should not become too much carefree at times of enjoyment that we forget about our work.
So, as I told you that I've no idea what to write about, then let's just pick a random topic. Well, there are so many things that bother me a lot. But, I can not write about everything. And because it's going to be random, so let's talk about online classes which is the new way to study for the last one and a half years.
Well, we all have almost adapted to online classes. Most of us find them irritating, still, exceptions are everywhere, so there must be some people who find them amazing. Though it is the only way to study these days, if you're making these mistakes then it might harm you in some ways. These are the three things you should remember while attending online classes.
1. Avoiding Earphones/Headphones as much as possible
It has been proved experimentally that using earphones or headphones for a long period of time damages our ears. So, always try to avoid earphones or headphones as much as possible. Use your device's speakers. Find a quiet corner in your home and attend classes peacefully on speakers. If you still find using speakers instead of headphones a struggle then make sure the volume is not more than 40%.
2. Make notes during the lecture
During our real classes, we all had a habit of making notes during the lecture. They were some people who didn't have this habit and used to copy from others. Still, most of us were making notes. Now, with these virtual classes, we have just lost that habit of making notes and attend these classes as if watching a movie. Well, doing this affects our retentivity. If you're not making notes then they're chances that you will forget most of the things you've learned in the class. So, keep that habit in routine and make notes during your lecture. It will increase your retentivity and you will not forget stuff easily.
3. Don't scribble during your maths class
Well, this one is for those who attend maths classes or subjects which involve typical problem-solving. Often, when a problem is given to us to solve, and when we get stuck during solving, we start scribbling on our notebooks. Scientific studies have shown that this leads to a decrease in creativity and obviously, it's a waste of time. So, next time when you get stuck in a problem, don't start scribbling, instead start finding out the solution.
So, these were some small but important things to be kept in mind while attending your virtual classes so they do not start affecting you negatively.
Have a great day!
