Welcome 20s !
The same day, last year I made a bucket list in which I wrote about things I wanted to achieve before this birthday. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to that list and so that list is still one of the posts in the drafts folder. Else, I would have published it today. Anyways, this doesn't mean that I'm regretting things. Either we win or we learn, we never lose. And so, I didn't fail to achieve a few things, I just learned that few things don't work that way.
Well, I want to share those things I learned all over the year because I believe life is too short to learn from our mistakes, so learn from others' mistakes too.
I realized that sometimes doing too much hard work is of no use. It just creates unnecessary stress and mental exhaustion. We should always remain calm and relaxed. Now, this doesn't mean start doing Netflix and chill kind of stuff. It's just, you know what you have to do then just do it. Don't think about its outcomes and what will happen in the future. Just plan out things and go with the flow. But the important thing is that you need to plan while keeping everything in mind so that you need not worry about anything when going in its flow.
The next thing I learned is that health is the most important thing. I have seen people who neglect their health just because they think that when they will become successful then they will start working on it. I also fell prey to this mindset and it actually ruined my health badly. I started working like hell for something, I didn't indulge myself in any kind of physical activity for almost a year. I also thought that when I will achieve this goal then I will get into shape again. But, in the end I couldn't achieve the goal, also, I became very unhealthy. And of course, I got a little fat and that is why I was following this workout plan that I successfully finished today. And I realized if we are not in a good health then what use will all that success come to? If you can't enjoy your success then it's not a success. If we want to go ahead in life and acheive bigger goals then our topmost priority should be our health. Because if our body is not well enough then how can we expect it to put great efforts to for bigger goals.
So, we all have a birthday. Some celebrate it, some maybe not and it's totally an individual choice. But, we can still make that day special by looking back on our year and see what we did. Just take a look back and learn from the things you did all over the year. Learning is not always about books, it's also about realizing the mistakes and observing the experienced we had in our past.
Entering into my 20s with a positive outlook and I believe it will be awesome.
Have a great day!
