The human mind (not the brain)
I have a deep interest in stuff related to the human mind. I've spent hours reading articles and watching informative videos on this topic. And, I've mentioned the human mind, and not the human brain. You must be wondering what's the difference between the two. Well, the brain is an organ of our body. Actually, the most important one. While our mind is something that does not occupy space. I mean, it does not have any physical existence. It just lies within us but we can't see it physically. Maybe you are familiar with this topic, maybe you've no idea about it.
Anyways, today I was just wondering what to write. At first, I thought let's take another social issue and write an argument over it but then I thought it's not really a good idea to write the same things again and again. And so, this topic came into my 'mind'.
So, for years, the human mind has been a topic of great concern for psychologists, philosophers, and in fact neuroscientists as well. A lot has been explored about it and still, a lot is yet to be explored.
Human consciousness is one of its subtopics that is still more of a mystery. Even when I think about it deeply, I get amazed and confused at the same time.
The fact that we are conscious of everything happening around us is really fascinating if you try to think over it deeply. It becomes more interesting when you think about what happens to our consciousness after death. Do we become unconscious forever, just like we were before birth? This thought sometimes frightens me and makes me afraid of death. But, we have to die one day or another. And so, I always try my best to gather as much information as I can about these fascinating mysteries of the human mind.
Many of the true spiritual personalities have explored the areas of the human mind which most of us never realize in our entire lifetime. One such example is Sadhguru. When a person, crossing the boundaries of mind, explores those areas, he/she realizes that it's much more than the materialistic things around us.
So, I just tried to ignite the curiosity in you towards such beautiful topics, if you really want to explore the mysteries, go and search for them yourself. Trust me, it would be much more exciting than scrolling your Instagram feed.
Have a great day!
