Why confidence is important?
Yesterday, while writing the post I was so sleepy as if I was drunk. Though I don't know how it feels after being drunk, still, I was really sleepy, I couldn't think clearly what I was writing.
Anyways, all of us go through such days when we are really tired at the end of the day. There's nothing bad with that. It's good because it leads to a very deep and sound and sleep resulting in a more energetic next day.
So, today I've something to share that I learned from Bill Gates. In one of his speech, he told that when he along with his friend Paul Allen made his first deal, he told the client that they've made a software that can fulfill their needs. But the truth was they hadn't even written the code yet. Though he was worried that the client would realize that he's just a college student in a hostel and hung up the phone. But, that didn't happen and the client told him that they will come back to him after two months. And in those two months, he finished the software.
When I got to know about this incident from his speech, I realized that we give up on a lot of things just because we are insecure and not confident. Only, if we handle things with confidence and say yes to every opportunity, we can make it really big. I personally started applying this thing and in a year, things changed completely. It's just I can't disclose what I'm doing right now because that is something I will do in a planned surprise. But, you need to understand that being confident is the key to success. We fear from failure and that is our biggest problem.
When you get an opportunity, you have two choices either to say yes or to say no. You're most likely to say no because you're not confident that you can really do what is being asked for and you're fearing from failure. Now ask yourself a question, why do you fear from failure? Are you going to lose something after facing failure? The answer is obviously no. In fact, you'll learn something from it. Moreover, there is a bigger possibility that you will actually succeed. Only if we start ignoring our fears, we can do a lot more than we think. I know things look difficult when we see them from a distance, but trust me, when you actually start to work on them, they become much easier.
So, in the end, I would only say, confidence is the key to do a lot more than we think we can do. It is the key to make impossible things possible.
Have a great day!
