Investment - A way to succeed financially

Warren Buffet had said it right,If you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die. After a very long wait, yesterday I invested some money in ethereum. I bought ether at night, and when I woke up in the morning I was amazed to see that I actually got a return of 3% overnight. Now, you must be wondering 3% is a very less figure. Let me explain you with an example, if someone had invested 100 rupees, they would have become 103. If invested 1000, then 1030 and so on like this. Now, it's just about a night. Looking at the trends of ethereum, one can easily say that their money will double in a month. 

Well, I'm not here trying to explain a get rich quick scheme or something like that. It's just I want to make you realize that investment is important else inflation will take over you. Also, I'm not saying that one should invest in cryptocurrency only. You can invest wherever you want, whichever commodity you trust the most. But, investing is important. I have been observing Bitcoin for the last 5 years. Back in 2015, a Bitcoin was worth 60,000 INR while today it costs 50,00,000. Had you invested a meager 600 INR in 2015, today you would have had 5000 INR. Not going into calculations and leaving them upto you. Last year the same commodity costed 8,00,000 INR. Now, you can easily see it multiplied 5 times in a year. This is the power of compounding. 

Over the years, I saw these commodities blooming, but at that time I never paid much attention to it. I had two options, either be a part of it or just see them growing. I chose the latter and I have regrets. And that is why, I just can't afford to do that anymore and so I invested without thinking twice. I know it will give me good returns. And so, I'm kind of satisfied that now I'm actually a part of that growth. 

In the end, investing your money at the right place is actually making money while sleeping. This doesn't mean you become totally dependent on investments only. Have multiple sources of income and then invest it in the right place. In this way, you'll never struggle with finances.
