A peaceful day
Today I missed my long run day because I slept again after waking up with the alarm. My alarm rang at 6 am. I dismissed it (not snoozed because I hate snoozing alarms). And closed my eyes to sleep for 10 more minutes. But, when I opened my eyes next, it was 7 am. I don't know why this happens in the winter. Even after sleeping for hours, I feel like sleeping for 10 more minutes in the morning. Actually, this is not a good thing to do. I've read somewhere that if you sleep again after waking up in the morning, you will feel sleepy for the rest of your day. So, whenever you wake up, just get out of your bed instead of going for a 10-minute short nap.
Also, today I attended a cultural program where the major audience consisted of senior citizens. It may sound a little weird to most of the readers, but I actually enjoy the company of senior citizens. In fact, my day begins with a meet and greet with a group of people who are in their 50s and 60s in the park.
Well, in order to learn, we should spend time with people younger than 10 and older than 60. The former has a lot to learn from us and so we speak with utmost care in front of them. The latter has gained a lot of experience in life and so we can learn a lot from them.
Anyways, life is all about learning, growing, and contributing to development. So, keep learning and keep adding value to this society.
Have a great day!
